What is Kroons?
Kroons is a tool for client comments from 3D model reviews. It keeps each comment until it is closed. Your design team uses the Navisworks plugin to record comments in the model during the review. Your team and your client use the web app between reviews. In the web app, they assign work and accept or reject fixes.
Who is Kroons for?
Kroons is for EPC contractors, engineering and architecture companies, and single designers. They review 3D models with their clients. One designer can use the free Mini plan. A small company uses the Team plan. Large teams in many disciplines use the Enterprise plan.
Must my client have Navisworks?
No. Your design team does the review in Navisworks. Clients and other members use the web app in a web browser. They can add comments, and the client can accept or reject proposed fixes. They can also use the plugin.
Which Navisworks versions can I use?
Autodesk® Navisworks® 2024–2027, Manage and Simulate.
How do I log in to the plugin?
Enter your email address. Then enter the one-time code that we send to you, or enter your password. A password is optional. You stay logged in until you log out, or until 20 days without use. After 6 months, you must log in again. Then you select a review from a list.
Can I approve fixes in the plugin?
Only the client can, on an Enterprise plan. The client can accept or reject a proposed fix in the plugin. Use the plugin to raise and review markups. Use the web app to propose fixes, to reopen items and for all other decisions. On a Team plan, a project admin records the decision of the client in the web app.
How many users can I add?
An Enterprise plan has no limit. A Team plan has up to 3 writers and 1 client login for each project. Mini is for one person.
What is Mini?
Mini is free and has no time limit. No card is necessary. Mini has 1 writer seat and an internal review only. It has no readers and no clients. Screenshots have a watermark. Start Mini from the plugin, or use the form on this page.
What is Team?
Team is a plan for a small company that shows its work to a client. Each Team project has up to 3 writers and 1 client login. The client can see markups and add comments. A project admin records the decision of the client. The term is 1 year, and payment is by card only. We will publish the price soon.
What occurs when a licence expires?
A Team or Enterprise licence expires at the end of its term. Then the project becomes read-only for 1 year. After that year, the project is locked. We delete locked project data 90 days after the lock (15 months after expiry). The project admin receives reminders before expiry and before deletion. A Mini does not expire. A Mini project without use becomes read-only after 12 months. After 24 months, we delete the Mini project data.
Do you collect my model data?
No. Kroons never uploads model files. The plugin sends no telemetry.
How do I pay?
Pay online with Stripe, our payment provider and merchant of record. For an Enterprise plan, you can also pay by bank transfer against an invoice. Prices are in EUR, excl. VAT. Reverse charge applies to EU businesses with a valid VAT ID. We sell Kroons to businesses only.
